Het heeft even geduurd maar met de update van de tools is de Xbox 360 Dashboard versie 2.0.14719 nu ook om te bouwen met de Coolrunner Reset Glitch Hack Chip. Naast de update is er ook nieuws voor de phat Xbox 360′s znder HDMI, die zijn nu ook met de Coolrunner chip te hacken!

De laatste nieuwe dashboard update voor de Xbox 360, versie 2.0.14717, is gecontroleerd op nieuwe checks tbv veilig spelen van backups op Xbox live, de update kan je dus gewoon accepteren met een iXtreme omgebouwde Xbox 360. Voor de Reset Glitch Hack is de dashboard update in ontwikkeling en verwacht ik binnen 2 weken te kunnen installeren op je xbox met Coolrunner RGH modchip.

Eindelijk kan je als Mac OSX gebruikers nu games extracten voor je Reset Glitch Hack XBox 360, door middel van het programma XBox 360 ISO Hacker Utility v5! Het programma kon je al gebruiken om je games te checken met ABGX360 en te branden, maar nu kan je dus ook de inhoud van de ISO extracten naar je USB harddisk of naderhand via FTP uploaden naar je Reset Glitch Hack XBox 360!

Xamphear heeft de Xbox 360 Content manager ge-update naar versie 2.2 zodat je makkelijk games en andere homebrew software naar je Reset Glitch Hack of JTAG Xbox 360 kan kopieren via FTP netwerk.

Vandaag hebben de makers van de x360GlitchChip aangekondigd dat de Reset Glitch Hack chips binnenkort ook mogelijk maken om Xbox 360 S met het “Corona” Model Moederbord (met 115W / 9.86A voeding) te hacken zodat je homebrew software zoals Freestyle Dashboard kan draaien en games vanaf de interne EN USB harddisk kan spelen!

De iXtreme LT+ 3.0 update voor de Xbox 360 S / Slim is eindelijk gereleased, met deze firmware ben je weer veilig op live en kan je de nieuwste XGD3 games weer spelen! Na de update moet je de XGD3 games controleren met de laatste update van abgx360 en branden met de nieuwste imgburn.
Update van een al omgebouwde Xbox 360 S / Silm naar iXtreme 3.0 €25,- (als de xbox hier al om is gebouwd anders kan het zijn dat ik de drive opnieuw moet unlocken, dan zijn de kosten €40,-)

Zoals te verachten wast, de x360key’s worden op dit moment van live geband. De reden dat een x360key nooit live-safe zou zijn is dat extra hardware toevoegen tussen de DVD en het xbox mainboard te makkelijk te detecteren is voor Microsoft. Daarom adviseer ConsoleRepairs alleen de DVD drive ombouw met de nieuwse iXtreme LT+, of als je alleen offline gamed, de Coolrunner Reset Glitch Hack Chip zodat je games vanaf een USB harddisk, maar ook van de interne harddisk kan spelen.

Met Xbox 360 Games Easy Updater kan je de laatste game updates downloaden aan de hand van de ISO bestanden en het programma abgx360, Xbox live is niet nodig want het programma download the updates van www.xbuc.net
What’s it?
It’s a simple Linux tool to search for and download updates for your XBOX360 games directly from your PC (no need of XBOX Live!))
You have simply to select a XBOX360 ISO and the program automatically will get the Media-ID (using ABGX) and will search for the latest available update on the online database of xbuc.net. Then you’ll can download it directly using this program, so without the need to open any internet browser or external programs.
Windows: Installation
This program does not require an installation in your PC but you need the Microsoft .NET Framework 4 Client Profile.
If you don’t have already installed it then you can download its official Standalone Installer from here: http://www.tinyurl.com/net-framework4.
To run this program just double click on .exe file.

Linux: Installation and dependencies
This program does not require an installation in your PC but it has two dependencies: Gambas2 and curl.
In Ubuntu (and derivates) just type in a terminal:
sudo apt-get install curl gambas2-gb-desktop gambas2-gb-form gambas2-gb-gui gambas2-gb-net gambas2-gb-net-curl gambas2-runtime
In Archlinux just type in a terminal:
sudo pacman -Syu curl gambas2-gb-desktop gambas2-gb-form gambas2-gb-gui gambas2-gb-net gambas2-gb-net-curl gambas2-runtime
For other distros you can download sources to compile here: http://gambas.sourceforge.net/en/main.html (Gambas2) and http://curl.haxx.se/ (curl).
After installing the dependencies, to run this program just double click on .gambas file. If it does not start, this means you have to give it the “executable” attribute. To do it, just type in a terminal:
chmod +x XGEU.gambas
